Kundalini yoga for beginners: what it is and how to start
Kundalini yoga is the one with the breath of fire, the arms-up poses you hold for three minutes, and the chanting. It comes from the tantric and hatha yoga traditions, and the idea is that there's energy coiled at the base of your spine that the practice gently wakes up.
It's honestly the most fun yoga to start with because you don't need to be bendy at all. You need a cushion, a timer and, like, a little commitment.
